Loan Wheels Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
As part of our commitment to customer convenience, The Wheel Specialist offers a Loan Wheel Scheme. This allows you to continue using your vehicle while your own wheel(s) are being refurbished.
By choosing to use this scheme, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms are designed to ensure safety, fairness, and clarity for all parties involved – including The Wheel Specialist franchisor and our individual franchisees.
2. Availability
Loan wheels are offered strictly subject to availability and must be compatible with your vehicle and wheel specifications. Loan wheels are not suitable for all vehicles.
The Wheel Specialist reserves the right to decline the provision of loan wheels where compatibility or availability issues arise.
3. Vehicle Value and Insurance Restrictions
If your vehicle is valued at over £100,000, you must inform your local Wheel Specialist branch before any loan wheels are fitted.
Due to restrictions imposed by our insurance provider, vehicles valued over £100,000 cannot be covered by our insurance while using the Loan Wheel Scheme. As such, they are not eligible to participate in the scheme under any circumstances.
4. Safety Checks
Every loan wheel issued through this scheme will have undergone both a tyre safety check and a wheel safety check before being provided to you.
Your safety is of paramount importance to The Wheel Specialist, and we take all reasonable steps to ensure the wheels provided are roadworthy at the time of issue.
5. Use at Your Own Risk
Participation in the Loan Wheel Scheme is entirely voluntary and at your own risk.
You acknowledge that you are accepting full responsibility for any and all consequences, including risks associated with the use of loan wheels on your vehicle.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Wheel Specialist (including the franchisor and all franchisees) accepts no liability for:
Any financial losses,
Any injury,
Or any damage to your vehicle or third parties, arising directly or indirectly from your use of the Loan Wheel Scheme.
7. Deposit
A refundable deposit may be required prior to the loan wheels being fitted. The amount and conditions of refund will be confirmed by your local branch.
8. Your Responsibilities
You agree to take reasonable care of the loan wheel(s) and tyre(s) while they are in your possession.
