The business behind your local branch could be yours

Britain's only national chain devoted entirely to alloy wheels.

Franchising since 2006, and opening in new areas across the UK

You're on this site because of what we do to wheels. Here's what the business behind it looks like.

1.5m+wheels refurbished for UK customers
4.9 / 5on Trustpilot, from over 20,000 reviews
£24mof work quoted across the network in 2025
1955a third-generation family business since

Not a van. A business.

Most alloy wheel repair in this country happens at the roadside, out of a van, as a cosmetic touch-up. We've never worked that way and we never will.

Every Wheel Specialist franchise runs from a fixed workshop with a proper customer showroom, 1,500 sq ft or more. Every wheel goes through the same 15-stage process, whether it came off a ten-year-old hatchback or something with a waiting list. That's why main dealers and fleet operators put their work through us, and why the brand holds a 4.9 rating after more than 20,000 reviews.

  • A workshop and showroom of your own, so your earnings aren't capped by how many jobs you can drive to
  • Wheels only, through the same process every time
  • A large exclusive territory, professionally mapped, that no other franchisee can trade in
  • Retail customers and trade accounts side by side, which is what keeps the model steady in a downturn

What it takes

We'd rather be straight with you now than waste your time later.

Minimum personal investment£50,000
Franchise fee£34,993 + VAT
Estimated total project cost£180,000 plus working capital

There are a number of variables that influence the total cost of the investment, so we'd encourage you to get in touch and discuss it properly.

We have long-standing relationships with lenders who already know our model and the performance behind it. We share a full financial breakdown with serious candidates, including evidence of existing franchisee performance and sales, following a Discovery Day.

You don't need to know anything about wheels

Our franchisees have come from sales, engineering, the forces, corporate management and running their own businesses elsewhere. Very few had ever refurbished a wheel before they started. We'll teach you that part.

What we can't teach is the rest of it:

  • The ability to lead and manage a small team
  • A real commitment to doing the job properly rather than cheaply
  • The drive to build a business, not buy yourself a job
  • The capital set out above

Everything else lives on our franchise site: the training and support, the areas currently available, and the franchisees already running branches who'll tell you what it's really like.

We're opening in new areas across the UK. Our existing branches are owned and run by their franchisees and are not offered for sale through this page.
