Just thought I’d drop a quick email to say thanks for the great job on my wheels. A quality service from start to finish and many thanks for advice on colour and for making life easy by running me to and from work. Was great to have a tour of the workshop before hand and to see that the wheels are hand tightened to the correct torque when fitted (unfortunately a bit of a rarity nowadays. Only worry I have is letting anyone else near them when I need tyres so hope to do business again when I’m due a set.

It’s a good thing your service is faster than my thanks !  You may remember refurbishing the wheels on my black Skoda VRS a few weeks ago. I’d just like to put on record my appreciation of a set of outstanding results – the wheels are completely as new – and the (free) ‘taxi’ service to and from work. The whole experience was a real pleasure, you & your team took a genuine interest in me, the car & ( most importantly ) the wheels. I’m seldom happy handing money over, but on this occasion I feel that the outstanding service & top quality results were worth every penny. Please pass on my thanks to the whole team.

Just a quick note to say how pleased I was with the service I received at the Burton branch yesterday. the staff from my first phone call to the moment I left with my car were all first class and could not have done more to help, the finished wheels on my MX5 are superb and the help choosing the right finish was much appreciated. I really cannot thank you enough.  I usually approach “getting work done on my car” with trepidation, but I can honestly say as soon as I walked into your office I felt completely at ease. Chris suggested that black is the new silver and that My A2 would benefit from the change and I totally agree.

They look great and you even offered to sort my wheel caps out too (they actually fit now).

I have already recommended you to my incredibly fussy father and he was very grateful you gave him a guided tour of your facility.

It is also worth saying to anyone reading this – do not get tyres fitted anywhere else…

I could go on and on…

In summary: you are all very professional, friendly, reasonably priced and above all, passionate about doing a great job.

I will never go anywhere else for wheels and tyres!!

I wish to thank you for the effort you made in turning around the refurbishment of my 20” alloys and the fitment of the new tyres. This was despite in encountering a difficulty in stripping the alloys in the first instance.

Just wanted to drop you an e-mail to reiterate how pleased I am with my wheels that you and the guys did for me on the 12th December. It was only when I pulled up at a petrol station on the way home that I was able to take a proper look at the car and I must say that the workmanship is second to none. I was even asked by the petrol station attendant whether the wheels had come with the car – fast results! I did mention to him that whilst the wheels came with the car it was yourselves that made them look good.

Have had similar comments from friends who have seen the car this evening and are now considering getting theirs done – the leaflets you gave me are fast disappearing.

Again would like to thank you and the guys for the quick turnaround.

Brief note to once again thank you for the work recently completed on my X5 and Audi A8. Alan is truly my go to point for anything alloy wheel related (damaged or aesthetic) – over the last 3 years (ish) Alan and the team have refurbished and repaired the wheels on three of my cars with astonishingly positive results. Nothing is too much trouble for him and his team – the communication in terms to pricing is clear and concise, the work is carried out in good time and quality of the work is beyond reproach. I am delighted to support his work in Burton and recommend him to anyone and everyone that will listen. I could tell that you and your excellent team take great pride in your work. I could have cheerfully eaten my breakfast off your workshop floor. The general atmosphere in the shop was a very happy one. Taking me to and from the station was greatly appreciated. I know that it doesn’t matter, but the fact that, on each wheel, the locking nut was opposite the valve, shows attention to detail. Of course, I cannot tell exactly what went on with my wheels inside your kiln, but I can infer from what I did observe that all would have been done to the highest standard.

I do not intend to kerb any wheels, but I am almost tempted to do so just to relive the experience! Many thanks to you and to your excellent team.

Just to remind you I got intouch with you after I had taken my wheels to a apparently wheel repair garage in Stafford. To cut a long story short as both your face and Chris’s you could see that I had been ripped off by them.

What I should have done was come too the wheel specialist first time, thank you for waiting for my late return due to traffic and your speedy turn around.

If I ever need any more work doing I’m bringing it to you & Chris (the perfectionist).

Just a note to thank you for a job really well done on my car. I picked The Wheel Specialist at random from a Google search and obtained an online quote. Because the wheels are a bit different and are effectively a split rim, I decided to bring the car over for you to look at. Chris took the time to cast an eye over the vehicle and also despite being really busy, gave me a whistle-stop tour of your impressive facility. My wheels had the usual scuffs and abrasions and were in need of TLC. Up to the point of meeting Chris, my plan was to have the wheels refurbished and then re-coloured in a dark grey to match car body colour. Chris pointed out that a contrast between the two ‘halves’ of the wheel would look very nice. He suggested anthracite/charcoal for the rear part and smoked anthracite for the outer. He then went on to show me samples of both. I decided that I was going to book the car in for the work the following week. At this time, you gave me a fixed price quotation for the work and I agreed a date to bring in the car. When I dropped the car off, I was even asked if I wanted a lift anywhere – great service indeed!! During the day, the phone rang and I was told that one tyre had an inner sidewall crack which was dangerous and that the other three had cracking to a lesser extent. Having only just bought the car, I had not had time to inspect the inner sides of the tyres but obviously with any performance car, tyre condition is critical. You suggested some options for replacement tyres and offered to obtain and fit them. I agreed to call you back and in the meantime checked prices and was pleasantly surprised to find that the prices you quoted were very competitive. When I collected the car, I was stunned, the wheels looked absolutely superb and Chris’s combination of finishes was a great choice. My bill was exactly what you said it would be  – not always the case these days. Anyway Alan, a brilliant professional job and excellent service from you and your staff. I will be singing the praises of your company to my friends and colleagues, many of whom have already commented on how good the wheels look. Well done and thank you all.

…After 3 years of carefully modifying the whole car and obtaining performance parts from all over Europe and the States the last thing left to do would be the wheels. I decided that I would keep the existing wheels that I had on the car as I thought they suited the car and a good quality replacement set of the same quality would cost in excess of £500 so after much deliberation I decided to use the Wheel Specialist as I could’nt find any negative comments about this company anywhere on the Internet. I wasn’t disappointed, the dark anthracite finish on my wheels, the service and the exceptional job that was made of my wheels put the smile back on my face plus the extremely friendly, kind and helpful team who run the Burton branch restored my faith that there are people who care and who in my opinion have no equals in this area of car restoration and refurbishment.

The wheels on my SLK were refurbished a couple of months ago at the new Burton site. The finish on the wheels immediately after the work totally transformed the tired and slightly scuffed look bringing them back to an ‘as new’ condition. I’ve now used the car for a couple of months through a wide range of different weathers and the finish has not diminished at all. I am extremely happy with the result and I would have no hesitation in recommending this service to anyone wanting to really improve the look of their car and I can wholehearted recommend the very helpful, friendly and professional folks at the Burton site.
